Cookie policy
Last updated:
The short version: we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. This website only stores two small settings on your own device, and our host may set one security cookie to block attacks.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website can save in your web browser. Websites can also save information in your browser’s “local storage”, which works in a similar way. Both are covered by this policy.
What we use
| Name | Type | What it does | How long it lasts | Can I turn it off? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ps_consent | Local storage (essential) | Remembers your choice in our cookie notice, so we don’t ask again on every page. | Until you clear your browser data | No, it’s needed to remember your choice |
| ps_textsize | Local storage (essential) | Remembers the text size you picked with the Text size buttons. Only saved if you pick Large or Larger. | Until you clear your browser data | Pick “Normal” to remove it |
| __cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cookie set by Cloudflare (essential) | Our host, Cloudflare, may set one of these if it needs to check that a visitor isn’t a harmful robot. It doesn’t track you. | Usually 30 minutes | No, it protects the website |
We don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, advertising networks or any other tracking tools. Our fonts are stored on our own website, so loading a page doesn’t send your details to Google or anyone else.
Other websites
When you follow a link to another website, such as Amazon, that website may use its own cookies. Their cookie policies apply there, not ours.
Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings button at the bottom of any page to change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser’s settings. If you do, the website will ask for your choice again.
